Terminal 1 is consist of two buildings: the Main Terminal with its boarding gates from A1 to A11 and the Satellite Concourse with its boarding gates from A13 to A22. The Main Terminal is split into two levels. Level 1 is the Arrivals level. Ground transportation is on the level 1, including Silver Line and Blue Line Scheduled Bus, Rental Car Center, Logan Express, Airport Shuttles, Taxis, Charter Bus, Limos, Shared Vans, and also the baggage claims 1-4. At the Terminal 1is located the Passengers Drop-Off area, also other services such as Currency Exchange (Travelex), Banks, Children’s play areas, baby care facilities, drinking water, information desk, mobile charging stations, rest zones, pet relief areas, spa and salon services. To note, this Terminal 1 was the first terminal in all the country that obtained the certified LEED, a Certification System Sustainable Buildings.
At the Terminal B was done a $160 million renovation between the years 2012-2014. These works were completed in April 2014. Due to those extension works that have been completed at the Terminal B that included 8 new departure lounges, baggage carousels, walkways between both sides of Terminal B at post-security, concessions, 10 extra boarding gates, and 24 new ticket counters. United Airlines, began operating all flights out of Terminal B effective April 2014, it was previously located in Terminals A and C. On the Level 1 of the Terminal B is located Arrivals and Baggage claim area. This also consists of the North and the South buildings, and these sides are connected by separated walkways. The transportation opportunities are located between the walkways. There are also several areas reserved for pick-up passengers. The gates distributions are the central exit doors- B111/B1112, the left exit doors- B113-117, the right exit door-: B110-107. At Terminal B in Logan Airport, like in the other ones, you are offered a wide range of services like American Airlines Admiral Club, United Club, Bank of America (ATMs), Spa, Exchange Currency Services, Parking Pay Station, Smoking Room, and Shoe Shine.
In Boston Logan Airport, the Terminal C was opened in 1967 and later it was renovated for three times, the last renovation was made in 2005. This Terminal C is divided into three levels: Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. The Arrivals area is located on the first level. On this level also, are located facilities that offer transportation options, such as Airport Shuttles, Shared Van, Taxis, Charter Bus, Blue Line & Rental Car Center, and Courtesy Bus. In addition to that, there is a reserved area for the pick-up passengers and the baggage claims 7-9.
John A. Volpe International Terminal also known as Terminal E was completed in 1974. It’s building in Logan Airport includes three different levels. Level 1 is a Ground Level that is used for Arrivals and customs via US Customs and Border Protection. On the other hand, there are presented the options of ground transportation, such as Airport Shuttles, Shared Van, Taxis, Charter Bus, Blue Line & Rental Car Center, and Courtesy Bus. In addition to that, there is a reserved area for the pick-up passengers.
